May photos 2008

These are a few photos from the month of May 2008. It was a busy month with Anna's dance performance, the end of school, shaving the dog, and Sophia's new tricks. Sophia learned to stand up on her own and then quickly began cruising around the room holding onto the furniture, toys, the dog, basically anything she could get her hands on.

They can finally play together.

Fetch! Yes that is a ball in her mouth.

We have a picture of Anna just like this one. Sophia did a great job recreating the image.

Sophia loves to feel (and eat) the flowers.

Weeeeeeee!

Anna's final field trip of the year to the Knoxville Zoo. Love that sassy pose.

Pulling up at Daddy's knee. Just look at that face. She is so proud.

Looking cute in Daddy's cap.

We have been playing in the grass at Mamaw and Papaw's house while big sissy, Anna helps Mamaw sell flowers. Anna made $10.00 working that weekend.

This is goldie pre-shaving. Doesn't she look miserable and hot? Come on, humor me.

A picture of a happy shaved Sheltie, Jack Russel, Poodle mix. Anna loves the pom pom tail.

On a picnic at Norris Dam.

Trying to get off the blanket so she can eat the grass.

Always happy in the swing.

Anna's Ballet performance 2008

Anna's second ballet performance was on May 10th this year. She was a Silver Bell. The dancers in her class danced with little silver hand bells. She did a wonderful job. She remembered her whole dance and performed the steps beautifully. We were very proud.

It is a tradition in the theater for all great ballerina's to receive bouquets after a performance. So, here is Anna with the flowers presented to her by her fans.

Anna with her biggest fans (her parents).

Anna with her groupies (Papaw, Mamaw, Granddad, and Mimi). Papaw and Mamaw drove all the way from Ohio to see the performance.
