So after two days of claiming to "work on the fundamentals" it was time for me to tackle the summit and ski down alone. You have to ride two lifts to reach the summit...this photo was taken shortly after getting on the first lift. As you can see, you loose site of the base area very quickly. Notice that there is no one behind me on the chairs. There was also no one in front of me. This was not comforting for someone trying to prepare for his first time down a mountain!
Higher...I would eventually ski down the slopes you see below.

From the Pay Day lift you ski over to the Bonanza lift (bottom of this hill).
